Car financing

Calculate flat-rate or reducing-balance car financing with a down payment and separately stated fees.

Inputs stay on this page and are not saved or sent to analytics.

Result

Enter your assumptions and calculate payments and remaining debt.

Monthly model: interest and payments round to cents; the final payment clears the balance. Extra payments follow interest and regular payment. Total payments already include extras.

Use the contract price; VAT is not added automatically. Flat interest allocation is illustrative and does not determine early-settlement rebates.

This is an estimate, not a loan offer or an exact lender statement.

How to use this calculator

01

Set the inputs

Enter the car price, down payment and term. The financed amount starts with price minus down payment, before relevant fees.

02

Check the terms

Choose flat rate or reducing balance to match the contract. A 3% rate means different interest bases in the two models.

03

Read the result

Read the installment, total paid and fee cost. The lowest installment does not establish the cheapest offer.

A worked example

Illustrative calculation

A 500,000 THB car with 100,000 THB down finances 400,000 THB. Flat 3% for 60 months means 60,000 THB interest before fees.

Compare a second scenario

For the same car and down payment, compare 48 and 60 months using both total interest and monthly payment.
