Worked examples
Equal shares with service and VAT
A 1,000 THB subtotal with 10% off becomes 900 THB. Adding 10% service gives 990 THB; 7% VAT adds 69.30 THB. The total is 1,059.30 THB, or 353.10 THB each for three people.
Share only the items you had
A 300 THB meal is shared by Alex and Sam, while a 60 THB drink belongs to Alex alone. With no discounts or charges, Alex pays 210 THB and Sam pays 150 THB: 360 THB in total.
Common questions
Why might shares differ by one satang?
When division leaves a remainder, the tool distributes whole satang in a consistent order so shares add up exactly. Discount, service and VAT are rounded at each step.
Do I need to enter payments?
No. You can calculate shares without payments. To see transfers, enter actual payments and resolve any difference from the bill total.
Are bill details saved?
